The Man Behind The Vision
Dirty Cheesy Secrets is the passion project of a French-Canadian expat who brought a taste of home across the Pacific to Wellington.
Growing up in Québec, comfort food wasn't just food—it was culture. Authentic poutine, rich and creamy mac & cheese, and perfectly crafted melts were the kinds of meals that brought friends and family together. After making New Zealand home, he discovered that while Wellington's food scene is world-class, there was still room for a truly authentic French-Canadian comfort food experience.
Driven by a love of great food and a desire to share a piece of his home, he created Dirty Cheesy Secrets: a food truck dedicated to serving premium comfort food made with quality ingredients, generous portions, and plenty of cheese.
What began as a craving for the flavours of home evolved into a mission—to introduce Wellington to authentic poutine, indulgent mac & cheese, and gourmet melts while creating memorable food experiences that bring people together.
